Hello, love this game but very frustrated with this problem that I've had for years when trying to play it again. When I'm playing, I can move in any direction and shoot in any direction. Except diagonially to the left. If I'm pressing the up/down + left button, and then try to pass or shoot or tackle. Nothing happens.

It's like the game can't handle me pressing those three buttons at once and ignores the shoot. As you might imagine, this makes playing almost impossible. Oddly, it's not the same for passing/shooting to the right, just the left.Does anybody have a solution to this? I love playing this game! Same problem that I had few days ago when I joined. You use laptop, dont you?Redefine the keys you wanna use, in INPUT in WinUAE. Click on Mode-Configuration, then Device-keyboard and change the keys.

If you wanna use same layout like arrows, change it to MNBJ for instance. Dont put the game in Program Files folder, you cant save the config then (put in SWOS, Games/SWOS etc)! And dont remember to make the files writeable (NOT read only). If you use redefined keys, sometimes it causes troubles, keys dont work, autofire is switched on and so on, dont be dissapointed with it, just jump out of the formation screen and arrange the game again.Read this, some useful pieces of information are there:2.3.2 other keysif you are newbie, read this and dont by shy to play with other beginners;-). He he, sorry, this is PC thread I thought its Amiga.I dont use DosBox so I cant tell you.

Amiga version is better in my opininon and you should try it And join and play it onlineI dont use arrows, I grew up on ZX Spectrum and used OPQA combination or similar. Plus fire - usually M or Space, now its RALT.some tips for layoutI am sure its possible to redefine keys in PC SWOS in install.exe or setup.exe or something like that. DosBox doesnt allow to change keys? And do you run it on notebook or normal PC?

Using arrows on notebooks causes problem in SWOS online, dont know if its same in PC version of SWOS.Try to redefine them in dosbox, in setup, or try this:There are two links for keys remapper, I hope it will be helpful. If not, download WinUAE for playing SWOS online and all your needs will be satisfied, be sure:-).
