You can try one or all the methods to fix the WiFi not working or wireless adapter not showing up in Device Manager on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
I our case the environment is:- XenDesktop 7.6.- Hyper-V 2012 R2- Windows 7 Enterprise (Desktop OS).- Windows 2012 R2 (Server OS for XenApp Catalogs). We notice that the problem occurs after moving the Windows 7 Desktops from one Hyper-V server to another in the cluster.Aparently Live Migration works correctly, since Desktops don't lose network connectivity. However, once they are moved, if we reboot the machines, some of them lose network connectivity.Moving the machines back to the original Hyper-V server solve the problem.Notice that this only happens with Windows 7 machines that have PvD (we have a few Windows 7 test machines that are not part of any Citrix Catalog that don't suffer this problem). Aparently we managed to solve the problem. Our Hyper-V cluster is composed by 3 Hyper-V servers.

If that doesn'trestore the Wireless tab, try the below. If you right click 'My Computer' and go to manage, then Services andApplications, then Services, do you show an entry for the 'Windows ZeroConfiguration'? If so, right click for properties and then set it toAutomatic and Start. If you don't show that, there was a thread earlier where someone explainedhow to modify the registry to get it back.Clark'Geoff NZ' wrote in messagenews:7733D971-D7C2-40BD-B885-3CE4E0F7B02F@microsoft.com.I disabled wireless zero configuration service in Windows XP last year. I now have XP(SP2) and want to re-enable it because I have a new WiFi card which is supported by (SP2). I tried to re-enable it, but Device Manager looks different this time and does not have an option to click Enable / Disable.
Please can someone help me re-enable XP (SP2) wireless configuration service?.
