It follows the Order of Heroes in their battle to free the royal siblings of Nohr from Embla's control. 1) Do you have more than 1800 development? 2) Is the year 1600 or before? 3) Do you think that you can world conquest? If you answered yes to all of those questions, or could have at the year 1600, then yes you can get a world conquest, if anything that development number is high, although probably not for your first one.

Hello everyone,Not long ago, after reading new AAR written by my friend, I felt inspired to start new campaign. As of right now I have little over 800 hours in EU4, but due to my more passive and safe playstyle, I’m still fairly inexperienced. As I was not pushing myself to test the limits and learn finer details of efficient play. I would happily sit back behind my wall of forts with maxed out manpower and stockpile of money for years without risking anything.

And so I have decided to get out of my comfort zone and improve my understanding of game mechanics.I began planning goals and possible nations. After discussion with, I decided to start my first try at conquering the world. Ottomans seemed like excellent choice for such an attempt. With their amazing ruler and heir, relevant traditions and ideas and position on the map I was bound to have a good start. Also I never played as them.Initially I had no intention to write my own AAR, but after reading few other AARs, I couldn’t resist and wanted to document my own world conquest attempt. So here I am.

As of right now I have already started my campaign and played for a few hours yesterday. I would like to continue with this campaign, because it went well so far.

I will do my best to describe what happened between 1444 - 1467.Chapter 0: Brief overview from 1444 to 1467Mamluks and Qara Qoyunlu were set as rivals, mission to conquer Constantinople was taken and I prepared for war. Using my newly learned tip, I declared war on 1st day of the month, crushed Byzantine army and began siege. Shortly after I fully annexed them including Athens. I shifted my focus to Anatolia for reconquest of ottoman cores. Alliance and soon after diplomatic vassalization was formed with Dulkadir to untangle the web of alliances that formed in the time it took me to annex Byzantium.

This lead to an easy war with Karaman and Candar, quick stack wipe of both armies meant quick end and full annexation of both nations. After consultation with and his tip (with step by step guide) to convert to the Coptic faith I started war with Aq Qoyunlu in order to acquire Coptic provinces. They were allied to Timurids, but thanks to the rivalry between them and QQ there was no military access given. Sadly, Mamluks interrupted my plans by attacking QQ. I decided to block them from taking too much land and also declared war on QQ (Georgia as their vassal, Crimea as an ally) myself. This had a side effect of giving Timurids much needed military access and I soon found myself surrounded by several armies. I decided to sign peace deal with AQ, taking one Coptic province and some gold. With Timurid armies out of the picture I proceeded to stomp QQ with my Mil tech 4 advantage and signed peace deal for 4 Coptic provinces and more gold.It was time to convert.

I cored and stated my new Coptic provinces and used Dhimmi to spawn Coptic rebels. Mistake was made and I let the rebels convert more than 50% of my provinces without desieging at least some of them and so I received 20% autonomy increase in half of my nation, Whoops My focus was in Wallachia at the time. Ottomans were officially converted to Coptic faith, now was the time to put the Inquisitor from estate interactions to good use.Using Coptic faith’s blessings system, I was able to choose 3 blessing thanks to Ethiopia and Makuria and their holy sites. Picks were missionary strength, core-creation cost and manpower recovery.

With Antioch being another holy site and already near my borders, decision to attack Mamluks was made. Antioch and 5 more coastal provinces were taken in preparation for next war and closing the distance to the last holy site in Alexandria. That sums up most of the important events up to this point 24 August 1467.Any feedback is appreciated, whether it is feedback about format of this ARR or concerning ingame progressChapter 1 will be posted tomorrow. From now on with screenshots!

Chapter 1: Spreading the Coptic faithIt’s time to show the world who is the boss. Only relevant truce is with Mamluks until 1480. That means our options are plentiful. QQ is in a tough situation having to fight rebels as well as Timurids and Great horde so they look like an easy target to devour. With 47k total troops and 18k mercenary infantry our manpower should be pretty stable for now. Timurids blocked us from getting any reasonable war score with QQ and armies were bored so we declared war on Georgia.Georgia is now our vassal and we take 3 provinces from QQ, one of them Tabriz with Persian core. Persia is released right after war and after quick look at the ledger we find out Timurids are out of manpower, fielding only 25k troops and are behind on mil tech.

Its Hammer time! We declare using Persia’s reconquest cb, AQ is marked as co-belligerent because we have mission to own Ar Raqqa.Right before signing peace with Timurids we were able to embrace renaissance for hefty 800 gold and invested into mil tech 7. It’s time to look at our armies, shuffle them around a bit and add some cannons to the mix. With two +3 advisors, armies up to force limit and decent amount of mercenaries our income is stretched to its limits.Ar Raqqa is taken from AQ. Timurids are forced to return close to 80 development to our persian vassal. Persia is slowly gaining new provinces as Persian separatists in Timurid lands enforce their demands and defect to Persia.

With 5 more years truce with Mamluks, we engage Tabarestan and Shirvan to feed our vassals. With no target on the east front, we move our armies closer to our European friends in order to vassalize Serbia. Bosnia seems to be in debt and won’t help, not that it would matter Antioch is finally converted to Coptic and we happily take 2,5% discipline.Rebels in QQ enforced their demands and released as Iraq. That means no truce so we immediately move armies to the border and declare holy war. As we annex Iraq, new one pops up again, but our truce with Mamluks is over and declare holy war on them first.Mamluks crumble under pressure from our superior armies and soon we control most of their territory.

Najd and Adal have trouble getting access to reach us and impact this war. We take Alexandria, Rosetta, Cairo and Damascus for total of 85 development, 3 forts and centre of trade. Costing us 93 war score and finishing up with some gold to fund new building, we sign the peace deal. Coring Alexandria is our priority in order to unlock last Coptic blessing.Liberty desire of our subjects is starting to cause trouble. We placate few locals and start looking for ways to deal with this issue. With 2 more years until we can start annexing one of them, our armies march towards Iraq for some target practice. Lucky event gives us +1 stability and 2% missionary strength with really helps with rebels and unrest, thanks to fast conversion and increase in Religious unity.

Sadly our great ruler finally dies after 41 of ruling the Great Ottoman Empire. His son Mehmet III seems to be very talented young guy with 4/4/4 stats and Industrious trait (goods produced +10%).Conversion of Alexandria is finished and we pick our last blessing. Iraq is split, part is annexed and persian cores are fed to Persia. With our country at peace we can start diplo annexing Georgia. Meanwhile armies are repositioned near AQ and Trebizond borders as we prepare to remove them from the map.

Liberty desire problem has been solved and our vassal swarm is strong once again. Click to expand.Reli provides CB (don!t forget about AE reduction when compared to normal conquest) missionaries, and missionary strength, which is something that he needs because of flipping to Coptic.
